Although none are open at any of the company’s US theme parks at present, Disney already has two of them frozen-Overseas-inspired lands — at Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea — with a third set opening next spring at Disneyland Paris. There, it’s one of the new areas opening in what was formerly Walt Disney Studios Park (themed around the world of filmmaking) and slated to become Disney World of Adventure (having…mostly the same things but with fewer buildings that make the place feel like a back studio) next spring.
While the so-called “world of Frozen” is already open elsewhere, the new land in Paris will boast a new feature: a “next-generation robotic figure” of Olaf who can walk around and interact with guests, and apparently also features a removable nose. At least that’s what the video Disney posted to its Instagram account today looks like.

Other World of Frozen land attractions include Frozen Ever After, a dark ride that originally opened at Epcot in Florida in 2016, as well as a kid-friendly roller coaster called Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs.
It’s clear that animation has been a hallmark of Disney parks since their early days. But for generations, these animatronics were static characters in one place, in games like The Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean, and were rarely able to interact with guests in anything beyond a very primitive way. This Olaf is clearly more technologically advanced, and follows some other recent additions, like the HERBIE robot inspired by the CGI character in the recent Marvel movie The Fantastic Four: The First Stepswho interacted with Disneyland guests last summer.
The World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris will open on March 29, 2026 along with the rest of the newly rebranded World of Disney Adventures.
