“This was the decade in which the greatest action movies were made — from the 1980s to the 1990s,” Schwarzenegger explained. “Now of course a lot of companies come and remake them. In most cases, I’m not happy about it. Because they’re perfect films. Why remake them?” Total recall? I wasn’t happy about that. It’s stupid to do that.”
Schwarzenegger explained that the only exception is the new version of the film Running man.
He added, “I’ve always said in interviews that there was one movie I did that came out really well, but I felt like we didn’t have the budget to draw the future in which this story takes place.” “And this was the movie running man … It was a great action movie, but I always felt it could have been remade in a better way.
