Sam Raimi doesn’t direct a lot of movies. He’s only released three features since wrapping the film Spider-Man trilogy in 2007. Of those three films, only one of them was an actual horror film: 2009’s Drag me to hell. (The other two were Wizard of Oz Prequel Oz the great and powerful) and Doctor Strange sequel In the multiverse of madness. Not necessarily bad, but also not the kind of thing that only Sam Raimi could do.)
So a new horror movie from a director Evil dead and Army of Darkness It is a legitimate cinematic event. Better yet, the trailer for his first horror film in 16 years, Send helpIt sounds great, a battle of wills between two people (played by Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien) stranded on a desert island. In civilized society, he was its boss, and a bad one at that. But after a horrific plane crash (and a nasty injury to O’Brien’s character), she’s now in charge. So what happens next?

The feelings here seem to be a cross between them forsaken and MiseryAnd let me tell you, that sounds like a great combination, especially when it’s directed by Sam Raimi. There is a poster for the movie too.
