The Marvel Cinematic Universe shouldn’t really work. It’s very large, very complex, and has many different moving parts that have to be kept in the air all the time. In order to make it work, you need a good cinematic juggler like Kevin Feige to keep all the pieces where they need to be — and you need very important scenes that, especially at the beginning of the MCU, helped establish the heightened reality of this world.
In Marvel’s latest video, we take a look at one of those scenes – perhaps the most important scene in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s 15-year-plus history. It comes from 2012 Avengersand that was the moment that brought everything the MCU could possibly bring together for the first time.
